All three of them are on the living room floor, on hands and knees, making horrendous noises, and pretending to retch or something – when I ask them what they are doing – M tells me they are pretending that they are being puss-in-boots coughing up a fur ball.
I just don’t have an adequate response for that.

Meredith came in my room around 6:30 loudly whispering to Paige (who was sleeping beside me of course) "wake up, wake up, the tooth fairy came, and left you a surprise, but i can't tell you what it is because it's a surprise!"
so everyone was awake now - I tried to cuddle up with charlotte and keep her distracted and get a few more minutes of sleep... and then there was quiet.
And i start to curse the stupid tooth fairy for giving Paige freaking nail polish because it was share-able - argh, and i lay there imagining the horror of a mess i am going to find when i finally get out of bed.
then i get out of bed, charlotte wanted cereal, so i let her out to find her sisters - and there was no mess! apparently ryan had not left for work yet, and had told them three times to not open anything til i was there - good daddy!
withing 5 minutes of leaving their room, they had lost 2 of the 5 loonies. Paige was excited about them - because they could play store with them - not that they could actually use them for money - my kids are way too sheltered. I think the last 3 loonies ended back in the same jar i took them from... whatever, all goes into their bank account anyway...
one of the loonies rolled under the bed as they were telling me about them
and then everyone got their nails painted before breakfast
i can't believe she stayed like this - actually i can, her sisters were doing it - so it must be fun.
P wouldn't look at the camera, but those curls just kill me
meredith - trying to spray us
Charlotte watching her sisters skate
C loves carrying around 'luggage'
M and P have 'swords', C went to kitchen to get 'shields' - so funny
not so sure about that crown, but her sisters wear them, so it must be good, right?
the series of shots where she remembers just how she likes to hold her juice...
not quite
almost
almost
bingo - complete with outstretched fingers! nutball
cute cheeks!
cute baby squat
hi!
and another lid for me - she plays with those lids far more than the other two ever did
paddy cake!
M's baby in a placemat
and then the pictures get really orange - i think i hit a custom action to process them without looking instead of the plain regular one - oops
building her blocks
sitting with daddy
watching tv
having a little rest
drinking
hugging
and generally having a good time
again with carrying bags everywhere - and hello goofball face!
have pancakes, will travel
so proud of her lego dog/car/thing
good grief
painting
paigey went to the bathroom, there was a national emergency while we looked for her and waited for her to come out - silly
listening to some tunes with daddy
general silliness with daddy
laying on daddy
and the end of her dinner, half a smiley fry, a nibble of a nugget, and the last piece of broccoli

Meredith/Paige: Charlotte, what is this?
Charlotte: panda
M/P: right - good job!
M/P: Charlotte, what is this?
M/P: camel...say camel
C: camel (approximately)
M/P: Charlotte, what is this?
C: owl
M/P: Charlotte, what is this, a panda or a mole?
C: panda! (she knows that word!)
M/P: no, that's a mole, say mole... say mole... ok, we'll skip that one.
... at least it better be a girl - I have twenty tubs of clothes to get rid of (actually i have a back-up baby girl plan too...all good)
doo di doo
at this very moment she is 5-6 cm dilated - come on samantha lauren! (or simon marcus - love the name simon...)
so about those soccer pictures...
they are kinda crappy - we weren't sitting in the best of spots, but the light was gorgeous - and paigey played!!! even would have scored a couple of goals if the net had only been in the far corner of the field!
Charlotte was very excited about drinking the water and playing with the water bottles.
whee - sunflare!
P is dark green 8
oh ya - and my lens is smeared with something (probably Charlotte) right around the area of that pylon - fan-tastic!
and a rousing game of duck duck goose to end it
and Meredith, my little fashionista player... can't miss her on a field.
ok so that took 10 minutes.
C is singing twinkle twinkle in her bed - she sings every night, for up to an hour - crazy kid...
one more minute gone...
still no phone call
i think she's just lazy - i could have had P in less than an hour after being in the hospital, and with less that 4 hours total labour - from the very first contraction - if the darn kid had not been upside down - and thus had to wait and go through the most excruciating pain i have ever experienced waiting for the epidural to go in... ahhh good times...
four more minutes...
ack - need something else to do...

the wrapping paper rolls were there swords, and within minutes Charlotte walked in with the pot lids - wise move. Room in typical disarray.
no idea why she has a pillow on her head - pretty sure daddy stuck it there.
the last time you are going to be seeing that tree, even if it means that next year I paint one on the wall with green paint.
C's the only one who would tolerate the santa hat...
ugly tree. with hats thrown on - so much better.

Meredith had a thing about taking pictures laying on the ground - the only ones she would let me take of her - and she wanted a shot of 'everyone' laying on the ground (not knowing how overdone it is... hehe)
Charlotte thought it was a horrible idea. I do kinda like it, overdone or not - I think it makes a difference when it is your own kids.
...back to carrots now.
